Arran Brewery June 2018 Newsletter
The amazing summer weather has now continued for around 7 weeks, and who would have thought we’d ever actually be glad of the few rainy days we’ve had recently. We’ve had some of the hottest days on record, building up a thirst getting our ales out of the door on their way to our customers. Here’s a few things which have been going on around the Brewery.
If you’re thinking of spending time on Arran then keep in mind the Arran Brewery Guest House, with a view like this, how could you resist.
Arran Brewery Dug
Arran Brewery Dug is an American Style IPA with Attitude, which is dry hopped giving it a great geranium & grapefruit hop aroma. It has a refreshing citrus body with a dry lemon zest bitter finish.
A truly fine beer brewed from only the purest water and natural ingredients, and free from artificial additives and preservatives. Naturally.
Nose: Malty and floral with citrus hop scents and mild fruitiness.
Palate: Much of the same on the tongue as on the nose. Citrus hops throughout and a mild bite with a bitter, resiny finish. This American style IPA has been dry hopped for extra flavour.
Appearance: A bright golden beer.
Finish: Clear, golden body with a bubbly head and good carbonation throughout.
Comments: Delicious IPA with mild citrus notes throughout and a generous bitter bite to finish. A smooth and soft mouth-feel ensures that Arran’s dug goes down well.

We’ve always considered ourselves to be a model brewery, but here is an actual model of a brewery we’ve got to be displayed at our exhibition centre at Loch Earn. We’re not supposed to play with it, but can’t say we haven’t.
