The Clyde Puffer is our Oatmeal Stout.

This means it's very different compared to your standard "Guiness" style stout. First of all it features a lovely dark deep crimson colour rather than the stereotypical opaque black, but also is less bitter, instead featuring both sweet and tart flavours giving it a flavour reminiscent of a delicious black olive. You'll also notice it is a lot "lighter" that your average stout making it an ale that goes well with a meal. (It also makes a fantastic ingredient to a stew or bolognese!)
