Formally the Arran Ale, the Guid Ale name came into being to celebrate the Isle of Arran being reassigned to our cultural homeland county of North Ayrshire.
Ayrshire is of course the home county of the world famous poet Robert Burns who wrote wistfully of our beautiful Isle!
The Guid Ale itself is a classic Bitter style beer; featuring smooth and caramel malty flavours. One of our Session Beers, the Guid Ale features our lowest ABV of 3.8% perfect for a good drinking session!
