Sleeping Warrior 8.3% ABV 12 x 330ml Bottles

The Sleeping Warrior is our award winning Barley Wine. 

Barley wines originate from a time when Britain was at war with France. Unable to procure French wine or grapes without being seen as treasonous, the English nobility had to resort to making their own "wine"., thus instead of using Grapes they used Barley and instead made beer in the style of wine.

In it's attempt to emulate wine, the Sleeping Warrior features an unbelievably smooth and sweet base malt flavour and despite being an incredibly well hopped bear (to avoid it being too sweet) it lacks the stereotypical bitterness. 

Finally whilst the 8.3% ABV can be a bit intimidating, it is incredibly smooth and goes down far too easily making it a very dangerous beer!
